While visiting a friends blog, Being Made New, I discovered K5 Learning, which is an online reading & math program. I had the awesome opportunity to try it for 6 weeks (free) so that I can share with you all what I think of it.
So we tried it out & unfortunately it did not work for my son. He either was in tears or ran out of the room. As a parent I really liked it. I thought it was very well put together & seemed fun, but to my autistic son he didn’t agree with me. They had a math & reading assessment tool which was very good for finding where to place them depending on their knowledge, not just their age or grade level. I appreciated that!
It is definitely worth trying it out with the free trial period that they offer! I do really wish my son liked it because I did, but that’s the life of special needs.
